the Fabrication de montres normandes went into liquidation last year.
Rumour has it that Karsten Frasdorf is back in Switzerland with new plans.
But I have heard nothing more than that.

The design and architecture of their movements - most especially the prototype tourbillon - was very interesting. That purposeful, almost industrial, design, coupled with the use of wonderfully large balance wheels, appealed immensely. Hopefully the aesth...

Sad ... :-( Fabrication De Montres Normandes Basel 2009 Concours de Chronometrie constant force escapement with 2 escape wheels and 3 anchors...  

As the sole movement supplier of these killer pieces, it is indeed sad....
