I was going to ask this last but i determined that the 43mm is just too big. Then they came out with this and i would love your opinions on the HMC 200 vs say Jaeger Le Coultre 899 or AP 4302? HMC 200 macros seem a bit less precise than the former two, but i also think it's cool they make their movement parts including hairsprings and that the movement is design to be fairly rugged while also being attractive.

Good move by Moser. ~43mm is too big for many, even for a sport piece.
Did Moser slim them down as well (i.e., thickness)?
Thickness per Hodinkee is "10.4 mm (without sapphire crystal) and 12mm (with sapphire crystal)".
Compared to 13.6 mm and ~15 mm for the prior model based on a quick web check.
A sport watch isn't worth much without its crystal!
Are they really saying you could get it without sapphire, or just giving dimensions of the case without the glass?
Yeah...just giving dimensions with and without the crystal.
I assume the intent is to give a better impression of visible size and wearing comfort on the wrist since a couple mm of sapphire is not the same as a couple mm of metal case thickness.

Glad that Moser came down in size for the Pioneer.
I really like the 40mm Govberg limited diver. Due to the diving bezel, the dial appears smaller and there is less empty space. My preference is the lumed leaf hands on your pictured Pioneer. Was secretly hoping that they would choose 38mm as their midsize...
