Agreed.
Strom's watches impressed me more for the engraving than for the design or
the complication. But for those who like engraved movements, I think Armin
Strom's products are well worth considering.

if i remember correctly he is an engraver first and has been making skeleton watches for the last 20 years or so. I just discovered that the Armin Strom shop is in Biel, where I work, and is actually more or less across the street from where I usually eat...

It is admirable to be responsible for the largest hand-made tourbillon cage (14.8mm) in the 21st century. This German renaissance with Rieber, Nienaber and Vyskocil (watchmakers) or Benzinger (engraver) makes interesting reading...........more? Regards, M...
