A rare beast!

Earlier this week, I took delivery of the IWC Pallweber, a truly amazing watch.  Yesterday, I arrived in Singapore to collect the Kudoke 2 SJX edition, a collaboration that has resulted in arguable the most interesting, unusual and attractive dial of the much lauded Kudoke 2 coupled with some unique engravings on the movement.  The 39mm case is made from titanium, my favourite metal simply because in my opinion, when one wears a watch for long periods, the watch should always remain as an extension of one's wrist and not a heavy burden that needs to be removed. Okay, okay, I am just not as strong as some of you guys!  smile

But what surprised me most was the supple and light suede strap and the colour not only blends in with the dial of the watch but is arguably the most comfortable strap I have ever worn.  It makes this watch a very well thought of collaboration and I believe it has added greater flair to an already great watch.

So I have been blessed with two rare watches in a few days (the Kudoke 2 SJX is limited to 12 pieces in titanium) and love the fact that they are both manual winding. Next incoming - the Kikuchi Nakagawa Murakumo in June!  smile
