A beautiful watch...
...with a classic feel. I especially like that the tourbillon is hidden when viewed from the front.
So many modern watches are over-designed and bogged down by complications for complications sake. And although I can appreciate the talent behind these somewhat overly complicated pieces, this Roger Smith is a modern watch that I can truly appreciate.
I love the apparent simplicity, hiding the wonderfully done complication. Understatement at it finest by today's standards.

I am a big fan of Mr. Smith's work, and would love to own one of his pieces some day. The tourb on this one reminds me a bit of the Derek Pratt oval pocket watch, which is one of my all time favorite watches. That said, Mr. Smith doesn't actually talk tha...
