Volker should attend Basel, at least

Thank you very much, GG for your report. From your report, I understand he is still struggling with his work.
To be honest, it was really surprising for me that he is still manufacturing the case because as long as l concern, my case was finished in 2004. I had received picture from Vyskocil, and my number is also engraved on the case that is shown in the picture.

I don't know how many problems he has. But I can guess the number is almost infinity......

To be honest, I am little bit tired of waiting......
Because I ordered my VA of the first batch. That means I have been waiting almost for 10 years........

As long as I concern, he have recently never have a connection with AHCI watch makers.
Consequently, he might have nobody to discuss when he faces problems.
As long as I concern, that is one of the most crucial problem that production of VA has not been progressed for some certain time.

We, expected VA owners, should persuade him to attend Basel world, at least.
I've been to Basel world of 2013 and stop by AHCI booth.
I have talked with some independent watch makers and I was so surprised that the most frequent answers
were " who?" when asked about Volker. He was being left from the AHCI world!
I also asked one very prominent watch maker, and he remembered Volker.
But he also said that he had never seen him for several years.

Volker at least has to attend Basel world to keep connection with AHCI watch makers.
Volker's prototype was great, certainly. Volker€™s feeling and sense for watch making might be one of the best in the world. We, expected owners know that.

However, he has no experience to delivery his watch for his client. If he faces some problem, he himself sometimes might not solve it. That is obvious because he has no experience to work for some watch company, and he even has no degree of watch making school.

Consequently, he has to have advises from watch makers that have great experience. There are tons of them in AHCI booth of Basel! Volker should go there and talk with watchmakers!

What do you think, everyone here at Purists?

I think that you have captured much of the thinking of many of us who have been waiting for years now. Volker's dedication to "doing it himself" is admirable, but not when it means that he does not seek advice from other leading watchmakers on how to reso... 

He has been consulting with (at least one) other watchmakers who have delivered
