Urwerk 202--thoughts?
When last I posted about unusual displays, I said I wished I could afford an Urwerk 202. I have, in the interim, acquired (as Graham suggested) an einzeigeruhr--the Meistersinger Perigraph, with which I am delighted. But I have seen, and handled, in the metal, the Urwerk 202 in the aluminum titanium nitride, and it is quite a watch! It is hefty looking and feeling, and looks VERY mechanical (that is, machine-like)--delicate it is not. I find it very impressive, but even more expensive for what it is. Has anyone acquired it, or otherwise had the opportunity to formulate an informed opinion about this watch? Thank you for any thoughts you may have.

The question was asked of a different watch - one which I believe is made in an edition of 10 pieces. So, there are only 10 people who own this watch. Its hard to provide comment on something that rare and that obscure. I happened to love my RG one when I...

Hi the first time I have fallen for URWERK is the OPUS 5 and when my local AD showed me the 202 in Ailtin I was not very impressed to be honest with you, I was thinking it was not my kind of watch. For some reason someday i had a chance to acquired a 201 ...
For me: a great watch.

I don't own any but I had the chance to wear it several time. The watch is heavy but very comfortable. The ability to convert it in a pure handwind watch thanks to the turbines is a nice feature. The caliber is based on the reliable GP3100. If you like it...
