Dear all,
First of all, more details about the Fleurier Quality certification, co-created by Michel Parmigiani.
To obtain it, the watch must meet 5 criteria :
- Be entirely manufactured
in Switzerland, the swiss made we love !
- Have components
which feature high-quality craftsmanship
- Have a movement certified by the COSC
- Undergo the demanding Chronofiable test (impacts and moisture)
- Finally, the watch is tested by the ultra-precise machine Fleuritest (24 hours of wear).
For the anecdote, in 1998, Michel Parmigiani begins by drawing the profile of the tonneau-shape case of the Kalpa collection. The same year, he developped his first shaped watch movement for this collection.
With this watch, we find the drop-shaped elongated lugs, hallmark of Parmigiani Fleurier, who are curved to marry the wrist. Really appreciate it !
The red golden case
18 ct has a dimension of 42.3 x 32.1 mm and a 10.1 mm thickness. The watch integrates an automatic movement
whose power reserve is 60 hours. The finishes follow the requirements of the QF
certification: a 22 ct gold oscillating weight and the crossed
"Côtes de Genève" decoration on the bridges.
The dial is also guilloché
way “tresse” and it presents to the center an opaline black. A color which
contrasts with the rose gold delta hands and the date located at 12 am. Finally, in my mind, it's on the wrist that the tonneau-shape is really highlighted !
Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed !
