Hi All, Sorry this is not an update to tell you that I have received my watch. I sent an email to Volker and received a reply from Micahel who is Volker's brother. Michael has taken over the communication. He mentioned that: "he is making good progress bu...

Did you know

Volker also planted and grew the trees from which he will craft the box?

After all, straps must be made! If I recall properly, the straps are also supposed to be lined in natural rubber, so there's the rubber tree plantation to be cultivated as well. All joking aside, these watches are going to make for the greatest watch dinn...

Some hope! With photos...

I have also corresponded with Michael Vyskocil over the past week, and he was kind enough to provide the following photos, taken in late May and early June of this year (yes, I checked the image metadata): I know that many of us have been waiting for a wh...

...and not include all of the photos, just a couple that showed semi-finished work products. I may well end up being sorry in the end, but for now I continue to hope! Best, Gary G

that this watch will be the most personal watch ever produced. I can't imagine another maker putting that much efforts, thoughts, energy and love into his products, even facing the danger of alienating some clients. I am really looking forward to this fin...

Agreed Magnus

Totally agree with you on that one. I think Volker could possibly make more money writing a book about his experiences with some photos of the process!

Man, I almost ordered this watch

 By: Mostel : July 22nd, 2011-10:25
I really liked it in pictures, I debated, I ordered pamphlets, received them... but in the end, I didn't feel thel 'urge to splurge.' Still, I will be very excited to see this man's work in pics--congratulations to the future owners!! This message has bee...

I know we have all asked this question before! I have had follow up conversations with Michael and I was asking for the latest dial pictures. He said he was happy to do it but prefer to wait till later since Volker is doing some baic work on the dial for ...

Life would be meaningless without hope.

As long as Volker is still alive and he has not abandoned the project, there is still hope. Perhaps, Volker will give a big surprise to the owners upon delivery. Happy waiting! Regards Ling
