Considering a Moritz Grossmann Backpage Transparent
Feb 09, 2022,17:33 PM
Well, I think I’ve talked myself out of the Lange Terraluna (love the complications, I just think the watch is too big). I was also considering a Moritz Grossmann Backpage Transparent. Does anyone have any thoughts on this watch? I might be able to arrange to take a look at one at their Chicago AD.
Also, does anyone have any thoughts about Moritz Grossmann, or the Backpage, generally? Thanks!!!

At first I liked the novelty of the transparent, but the more I look at them side-by-side, the more I'm leaning toward the regular Backpage. Hmmmmmm........? ...

And are off the “beaten path”, if it speaks to you in person I say go for it! You’ll probably be the only one in your circle to have one. The purple is a nice change from blue.

You can not go wrong with either option but........if i had to choose i would choose the backpage. Alternatively, going back to your prior option (the lange) here are some watches I think might be some good alternatives. ...

I also considered the Backpage but ended up going for the simpler Central Second. They are superb watches with wonderful finishing. I love the innovation of the Backpage.
And the hands!

Forgot to mention the purple-ish hands are quite something.
The Benu case wears large...

At 41 mm with a very thin bezel. The lug to lug distance is 51 mm thick. I wonder if it would be a wearable dress watch, as opposed to more traditional offerings. I am a MG Central Second owner; as a daily wear casual watch, I think iMG makes a superb pr...
