Hello dear Nicolas, I also recently had a chance to see the Moritz Grossmann watches on a recent shopping excursion to the Dubai Mall at the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons boutique. And much like yourself I found the watches very teutonic indeed... which is not necessarily a bad thing. Though very classic in architecture, they feel very modern. But, but, but...
But I just can't get passed their name, which to my ears sounds like a not-so-reputable law firm 
More specifically, it reminds me of the fictional character Saul Goodman (the shady lawyer) from the television series Breaking Bad.

I love the dials and case, but just couldn’t warm up to the movement architecture, particularly the balance cock. I can’t explain why, but I find the design jarring.
