Yeah calf leather a lot more comfortable than the original sturgeon

Changing the strap was quite a challenge becoz the lugs are really really short and the strap actually goes under the case

Was your original strap one of the early sturgeon straps? Mine was - and it was certainly a beefy boot grade of leather... took a while to mould in shape like good leather shoes, but lasted well and still doesn't stink ;-) Would be worth getting the more ...
