Hublot

Do any of you change the strap of your Hublot from time to time? I saw a variety of straps at AD attached to certain models and I wonder how Hublot owners do. As with other brands, models, changing straps is quite a breath, a fresh air. I often do it myse...  

This one is very interesting, is the central gear in the dial actually moving, or is it just decorative purpose. and Hublot also make in house tourbillon? I am so keen to learn about this thank you and HAGWE Best, Eddy

I change my straps from occasionally and will post some pictures of them. I would suggest that people take them into a boutique to change them however as I have heard of people snapping the screws due to overtightening them or scratching them on the steel...

The screw on the strap lug area looks to be a proprietary screwhead, so I'm assuming Hublots come with a special screwdriver to fit the screw slot? And to change a strap on a Hublot, do you only need to unscrew those 2 screws on each side of the strap lug... 

Depending on the model some watches come with a second strap and a screw driver You only need to unscrew the two screws in order to change the strap

I wonder if you're referring to the two special screws on the 'surface' of the lugs: Or to the side of the lugs?...  

Hi Jester, An old thread but Its your first photo with the screws on the front. This releases the strap and the front panel so it is easy to put the new strap in. BTW, I had the solo bang on my wrist last week, it is still an AMAZING watch! Cheers Andrew

I'll be needing a specialized screw driver to change the strap? Probably better off having the boutique to do it then. Tx.

I've noticed some specialized strap makers offering straps for Hublot so I was wondering if strap changing is that easy. When I got my first big bang years ago, I didn't think it was that straight forward hence I searched this forum for info. Funny thing ... 

.... it may be easier than I am thinking, to change the strap. Just unscrew those two screws should do it, according to him. Well, it is better these days in Tokyo, but it is very cold winter all over the country including Tokyo.... How is HK - cooler/ co... 

Its really easy to change the strap, the only thing is that Hublot does not sell the screwdrivers which stops people from doing it. I have heard of people breaking screws, scratching watches, messing up the screws when trying to change the strap, but anyo... 

Hi Anthony, I have only ever seen 2 or 3 editions (all big bang) which came with an extra strap/tool and these were not recent ones. Its not like Panerai which most come with the tool and diving strap in the box, in fact I bought a King Power screwdriver ...
