Magic Gold 18k (750) Gold. Fusion of Gold and ceramics (boron carbide)

I heard there was some heated discussion (pun intended) with the materials standards legal people because for a gold alloy to be hallmarked 18K or Au750, the gold must be recoverable. This Magic gold is a fused material with ceramic that cannot be recover... 

I read that the materials melted down would separate. Can anyone from Hublot verify this?
