it's not hallow, it's solid sapphire
but also easy to clean off surface grime. If you see my other post I own the sapphire laureato absolute light and no issues. Just don't like the titanium lugs on that watch. Takes away from the sapphire look a lot compared to this

So so good. Easier to read than the current model. Doesn’t have the new LIGA micromachining for the wheel at 7 o’clock but that’s okay. ...

A little bit like a kid's dream come true. I've always been curious whether dirt will make its way into the sapphire case and become visible over time. Extra points for the pink shoelaces!
