Help pls - Unico service costs coming in at £1150

Hi guys 


Can someone advise?  My Unico is in for a service in UK as the crown FELL OUT.
It’s the 46mm Titanium version.
I was in a watch shop today looking at a Deep Sea and the guy showed me the service receipt from Rolex - £620!

It seems like a total con to me … how can it be £800 for service plus 20% VAT plus £120 for a polish.  

Madness !!!!!   

Or is that the cost ????!!

SWATCH club is not much different...

It happens way to often that people buy a watch and don’t look in to the cost of ownership. Flex has a price!

at that service cost. The watch is sent to the factory and it take some weeks or maybe months to have the job done.

My AP only cost £1200 for a new clasp and full service and Polish ! My 911 cost £700 for a major service. £1200 for a Unico a few years old - ridiculous!!!

£700 for a major service on a 911 is hard to believe...

I’ve had them for 20 now years as daily drive - £700 is about right and not much else needed.
