Bullet Bang: Column Wheel vs Non-Column Wheel
I had an opportunity to handle the non-column wheel Bullet Bang and I thought it would be interesting to compare the two.
Sorry they were not taken at the same time at the same place from exactly the same angle, but might interest some Bullet Bang fans. It is indeed interesting to find how different or similar the movements are.
1. The dial - non-CW
CW (obvious as it is printed...)
Non-CW
CW
2. The Movement - Non-CW
CW
Non-CW
CW
Non-CW
CW
All I can say is the Non-CW s/n is in late 200s, and CW s/n is in 20s

Any thoughts?
Have a great rest of the weekend!
Ken

For me, in this specific context, the column wheel is not a fundamental addition. The Bullet Bang is my fav hublot thanks to its colour and to the concept of fusion which brings here an impressive feature: the case protection. Thanks Ken ! Fx

AFAIK, some early pieces of the Bullet Bangs have been shipped with "prototype" dials and hands. These have slightly darker gold shades as you can see in your photos. The later pieces, although I'm not sure if specific to non-column wheel ones, are shippe...

Ah! Yes, I heard of the "prototype" dial, but didn't notice the slight difference in the color. Interesting! Thank you for the information and please feel at home here and post more often! Best regards from your moderate modoerator. Ken
Thanks, very interesting...

... the "production" dial seems very sharp without too much paint on the hands, but as for me, the unique painting on the hands is one of its attraction, too Thanks again for your interesting finding! Looking forward to more discussion of Hublot with you ...
