Hublot

A couple of days ago, my wife said she would like to try Chanel's Boyfriend series. I took her to the AD, and she was surprised to find that the watch exceeded her expectation, especially when put on her wrist. Needless to say, she took it, paid by me of course  

As she was trying the watch, I walked around the store, and something caught my attention all of a sudden.

A Hublot Classic Fusion Chrono Aero. LE of 100 pieces to celebrate the inaugurate "World Baseball Premier 12" competition, co-hosted by Taiwan and Japan in November 2015. To my surprise, wife immediately gave me the go ahead signal.

Happy wife, happy life. Is that what ancient wisdom has taught us?

A baseball for the small seconds dial.

Apparently it's a baseball strap!

At 45mm, it's the largest watch that I've ever bought. But as a sports, casual and fun watch, size doesn't really bother me. This is a lesson learned from Robin.

To be honest, this 45mm watch fits my wrist quite well, thanks to Hublot's famously flexible and high quality rubber strap. And with the help of the super comfortable deployant clasp, the watch sits perfectly balanced.

I've been attracted by Hublot's skeletonized AeroFusion for some time, but there has not been a version (team, player, competition) that I really felt for, until this one. Hublot has been huge in football and big in basketball, but this is the first time that the brand collaborated with a baseball competition, which happened to be in my country. As a fan of both the AeroFusion and baseball, it will be a hard task to find a better Hublot watch for me!

Hublot has also presented one of this LE to Taiwan's Head coach, the MVPs of the two semifinals and the final.

I must confess that Mr. J.C. Biver's passionate, informative and fun talks were what initially brought my attention towards Hublot. I've listened to Mr. Biver talking about the idea of "becoming part of your customers' lifestyle", which makes perfect sense to me. This idea clearly explains why there are so many LEs from Hublot, which is totally justifiable to me.

One more thing. Is it still possible to receive a letter from Mr. Biver and get an extended warranty? Please let me know if any of you can help on this matter.
