I had an opportunity to handle the non-column wheel Bullet Bang and I thought it would be interesting to compare the two. Sorry they were not taken at the same time at the same place from exactly the same angle, but might interest some Bullet Bang fans. I...  

For me, in this specific context, the column wheel is not a fundamental addition. The Bullet Bang is my fav hublot thanks to its colour and to the concept of fusion which brings here an impressive feature: the case protection. Thanks Ken ! Fx

But, I kinda agree. The protection - super hard bezel and case is THE attraction of this model And I love mine! Thank you, FX! Ken

AFAIK, some early pieces of the Bullet Bangs have been shipped with "prototype" dials and hands. These have slightly darker gold shades as you can see in your photos. The later pieces, although I'm not sure if specific to non-column wheel ones, are shippe...

The first three are the prototype dial and hands. Note how thick the paint on the hands are, and the obvious "Column Wheel" over the sub dial. This is the same watch with production dial and hands. You can see how the hands are sharper with less paint on ...  

... the "production" dial seems very sharp without too much paint on the hands, but as for me, the unique painting on the hands is one of its attraction, too Thanks again for your interesting finding! Looking forward to more discussion of Hublot with you ... 

Dare I say I like the thickly painted hands on the proto? Kind of provides some offset to the whole thing.
