Hello from a newbie.
AFAIK, some early pieces of the Bullet Bangs have been shipped with "prototype" dials and hands. These have slightly darker gold shades as you can see in your photos. The later pieces, although I'm not sure if specific to non-column wheel ones, are shipped with production dial and hands. These have better color matching to the cermet case, and are lighter in gold shade.
I like them both.

For me, in this specific context, the column wheel is not a fundamental addition. The Bullet Bang is my fav hublot thanks to its colour and to the concept of fusion which brings here an impressive feature: the case protection. Thanks Ken ! Fx

Ah! Yes, I heard of the "prototype" dial, but didn't notice the slight difference in the color. Interesting! Thank you for the information and please feel at home here and post more often! Best regards from your moderate modoerator. Ken

... the "production" dial seems very sharp without too much paint on the hands, but as for me, the unique painting on the hands is one of its attraction, too Thanks again for your interesting finding! Looking forward to more discussion of Hublot with you ...
