It seems that all brands within the group are positioned to be similar, but enough different to justify their existence. And it is a clear strategy to offer the prime product in every category of mechanical watches, with a solid stand in the quartz category as well. The only thing amiss is the big field of multifunctional sports watches, with the T-Touch being the only exception. This sector is firmly dominated by the Japanese brands, and the Swatch Group will have difficulties taking over a lead position there.

GO with the top tier, JD maybe a bit lower, since without own movement competence, Mido together with Tissot maybe? Generally, I think the average price level is a good indication of the brand positioning. Regards, Marcus
