This is an early Gerald Genta Gefica Safari Chrono with multi-piece bronze case, 7750 inside, and allegedly made so he and friends could go hunting without the sun glinting on their watches. Maybe the anti-glint coating has worn off on mine!

Love these
Clearly designed by a genuinely independent mind. The great thing is they are incredibly well priced on the secondary market for anyone who wants to own a piece of Genta history without the need for a bank loan.

So nice - i love the safari
Genta was very much an artist. I think of this watch as a little piece of sculpture with references to African native art. I see the hunter was overthrown by a tiger ;-)
