What shall I say.. Merci !.. as simple as that !! :))
Needless to say, how nice again these days and moments together were,
so kindly orchestrated for us - a real enjoyment to have been able to attend, to take part !
- Moments of laughter, moments of camaraderie .. elements of learning, with sighting and touching of pieces never seen yet..
all of this with the spontaneity of a - well, hilarious bunch of very nice people, united by passion, but also by some craziness, YES !
Looking, listening, learning for a Padawan.. but also exchanging thoughts and perceptions
- always finding someone to talk to, someone to listen to, something to look at ..
- And then the visit with Antoine, in a "session speciale" , all for us ,
finally some very nice food and enchanting drinks, down to the last Armagnac at pretty late hour,
exchanging the vistas of some final more ad-hoc last, but not lesser pieces.
Furthermore, putting a name, a face, and a charming conversation to an pseudonym, to an avatar, to a post

Well, I remember our first GTG in Paris very well. I wasn't a Moderator, yet.

There were two Longines Evils, at our event, Cisco.

Nicolas, Thanks for the writeup and pictures. I'm very disappointed that I wasn't able to attend. I had hoped that a trip to the UK to visit family and friends would have allowed me to get over to Paris to attend but I wasn't able to time things appropria...
All I can say is ..... wow.
Some of the most magnificent vintage pieces you'll ever see in that string of scans. Plenty of "grail" timepieces, and most in wonderful condition. Hope to be able to attend one of these events one day. Thanks for sharing. Darren
