You do realise that all the above are just aesthetic choices, and there is no right or wrong one...
only that which the eyes of the beholder find the most stimulating – especially in respect of the first one, which you criticise for being “clearly too deep."

The finishing looks really good on the AdC in these pictures!
Nice anglage, wide polished jewel countersyncs, and beveling on the gears. It does look like the crown and ratchet wheel have well-polished gear teeth also. Looking forward to your review if you decide to purchase one!
