Vintage Longines Diver Chronograph Ref 7981. The marriage of a top movement in a sporty case.
The Longines Chronograph Ref 7981 is a diving chronograph issued in the second half of the 60's. The idea was great: Using a fine and great chronograph movement, the 30 CH, for a sports watch, a diving watch, to be more precise.
The outcome is very interesting.
The 30 CH movement, housed in another chronograph:
Of course, there are more elegant " 30 CH ", but no more cool ones than this 7981.
And cherry on the cake, this red crosshairs, matching with the bezel.
A cool watch I ma hunting for a while, too...
