Value is subjective...
Hello anaesdoc!
Congrats on your first and interesting post! You raise a very good question.
Value in my opinion is subjective. How do you put a price tag on happiness/enjoyment/desire with anything(watch, car, etc)?
The Purist philosophy has always been the mindset of appreciating something because you like it. Doesn't matter if it's expensive or cheap, limited edition/exclusive or mass marketed, etc.. it's all about passion.
I happen to like yellow colored watches but I know others do not. But I buy these things because they are for me, not for anyone else. If you happen to like yellow too, great, if not I'm ok with that too. Value of the pics below: invaluable/priceless! LOL
So what watches are of value to you? How much do you enjoy them? What other things that you collect that are valuable to you? anaesdoc, I'm very interested in your views too. =)
