To me, the Blancpain and the U.N, uber the 2 others.

Well, the Fiftyy Fathoms is and will always be a special watch, a piece of Myth.

The U.N has a friendly and clever complication;, the time zone, which is one of y very fav complication.

The Vintage Hanhart were something, I find the modern less appealing, less balanced.

The good thing with the Longines is that they used a soild case back for this watch.

My problem is that when you know the rich history of this brand, it is a pain to consider its present, but noce again, this is my personal take.

One thing is sure, you took the time to make an interesting post, and that is what counts the most.

Thanks a lot, Stewart.

Best,

Nicolas.

A lazy relaxing Sunday here in the south US, thought I would show some of the watches I have picked up over the past 4-5 months. As 2 of the watches do not have dedicated forums, I thought that HOME would be the correct place to post. 1. Blancpain Fifty F...

on the watches. As I said in the post, you can put the watches next to eachother and see which are better made (the Blancpain and UN). Both the Hanhart and Longines were very affordable and interesting/attractive to me. I wish all my watches were of the q...

There is something about UN dials

that never ceases to amaze me and that I really enjoy. They often manage to create a little "world" with more "drama" on the dial than any other watch manufacturer I have owned and often the play of light on their dials is an additional source of delight....

Thanks for the pics ! I'm a bit surprised by the Hanhart...

The Hanhart you are showing us is far from the Hanhart I used to know (chronographs inspired by the past)... Is it a new style from this brand or did I miss something ? Thanks a lot for your pics ! Fr.Xavier

There is a post by SJX, a press release

 By: docsnov : February 21st, 2011-20:49
by Hanhart for 2009 Baselworld announcing these new models. They are all called Primus, and there is a Racer's, Pilot's, and Diver's model. They are all 44mm with flexible lugs, just different dials, and the dive watch has a rotating bezel (basically vari...
