Horological Meandering

It’s always excited with new mechanism and technology ! I remember seeing the zenith defy lab with huge silicon oscillator watch, the big oscillator is dominated the whole dial, with non stop moving, it’s little Disturbing ! I wish I can share video … a q...  

I recall it being stylistically off brand for them but still very impressive looking in it's own right, ...  

I was sorely tempted and could have gotten one as it took more time than usual for the stock to clear out but I couldn't get over the dial, I would have preferred the tech to stay hidden in the back (not that my opinion matters anyway!).

Congratulations on grabbing one. In my opinion, this collaborative piece is more appealing (looks-wise) than the regular production piece. Are you going to keep track of the real-world rate performance? The rate performance is not guaranteed as far as I k... 

In therms of the standard way mechanical watches works. Simpler said, watches without a balance wheel and hair spring. Quarts, monolithic oscillator are two that do it without the balance wheel and hair spring as we all know. Spring drive i heard from and...  

It is a break through … but the zenith big oscillator seems failed I wonder durable is this ! U measure the accuracy ? Mine seems off ard 30s a day

Very great you replied Chris. We can compare our Frederiques and enjoy the beauty of our special tickers. Mine is running + - 30 seconds off. But… i can reduce it when i wear my Frederique often and wind my Frederique till the point of friction tell me to...
