but seems very frequent lately and scary....
there has been a couple here in states that i know of that were never publicly stated... and one that was supposed to go down that the police foiled recently 2 days prior... the men had planned it for 3 months.. and thankfully the police were on top of things....
really hope that the AD's who have been lucky so far are adding additional security as a just incase... insurance does cover the watches... but does not cover the lives of the employee's and owners... luckily noone was harmed in Singapore... and in the other recent robberies elsewhere..

Has any of the other major retailers in Singapore been hit by something similar in the past?
speaking from many years in the detecting trade most jewellery thefts involve guns
even the recent harry Winston theft involved a daylight raid, guns and lots of shouting. can anyone here remember the last overnight/weekend jewellery raid that wasnt an inside job. i cant. the problem is we dont know if a break in occurred or whether key...
