I have a question. I've been eyeing one or two references recently but am baulking at the 43mm case diameter. My wrist size is around 175mm/just under 7", and my watches are 35mm to 42mm. The 42mm watch has a black dial and an integrated bracelet which combine to moderate its visual span.
What are your experiences of the size of the watch (I'm assuming it's 43mm and not 41 or 39).

I got this in 2005. I saw it at an AD. JD made their watches in limited runs of usually 88 pieces and sometimes in 8 pieces such as mine. Though I remember reading somewhere that for this Chinois Decentree version, only 6 were made.

Thank you AoS! Funny regarding the size. When I got it in ‘05, it seemed and felt bigger and larger on my wrist, which is similar to your wrist size.
But now after years big and bigger watch trends , that sensation is less both on the eyes and on the wrist😀. I’ve changed. I guess
