Congrats on the "new" watch.
The old version looked too stock...like Stepan just threw together what components were readily available (not implying that he did). This updated version gives it some personality.
I think it would be on my wrist very often too

It's great that Stepan was OK with the dial change. Looks very good and it really suits the watch. I think it's absolutely terrific that you can buy a watch of an independent watchmaker, member of AHCI, for just a (relatively) small price. Enjoy you Komen...
