Horological Meandering

Hi, Was wondering what everyones tool of choice is for removing snap on case backs. I was looking on a watchmakers supply website and there are so many to choose from. Thanks in advance for your suggestions Adam

I've got three of these case back openers. A really old one with the name Madorina. A Burgeon No 4932. A Wenger, with no model number, just Delmont Switzerland stainless printed on the blade. The 'Wenger' works best with my hands for some reason. I bought... 

A word of caution, They don't sell this tool easily for some reason in Switzerland so you might have to ask at many shops before you get it. I asked at about 10 shops, including local watchmakers before finally finding a place that had the right tool in s...

...Army Knife. Small blade. With the sides of the blade covered with tape to prevent any marring. Nice and thin but not too bendy. Good enough to easily get gummed-up dive bezels off.

sharp kitchen knife works also well. But use a small hammer and not too much force! Best, Kari

Don't know if it;'s the best, but It's worked well for me.
