some great watches here
little to add to ubik's explanation, the modular design of the automatic cal.11/12 mounted a Dubois-Depraz chronigraph module on a Bueren micro-rotor ebauche, due to space restrictions the chronograph module had to be mounted in a 180 degree position due to space restrictions, so the crown ended up on the "wrong" side - though many today believe and claim these were watches for "lefties".
as ubik explained, the same "big case" was used for manual wind calibers, the Valjoux 729 in a manual version if the GMT shown (ref. 0812) and several watches based on the Venus 178, Navitimers, Co-Pilots, Chronomats and Superoceans - they used the same basic case with different dials, screwdown and regular crowns.
here are two examples you might like too, a Venus 178 manual wind Chronomat 0816 and a 20 ATM superOcean Chrono-Matic, launched in late 1969 this seems to be the first automatic chrono diver.
