hello guys, long time that i dont post here.... had my old email hacked when i have my rolex submariner and my cell phone stolled in the end f 2018 and had to create a new account. well, a long time that i was looking for cricket nauctical , few months ago i got it NOS from an AD here in Brasil. unfotunatly it was the DLC edition i bought it anyway because it was a good opportunity as they was leaving the brand. i confess that the dlc doesnt botter me too much, even i think that it doesnt match with the vintage style of the watch, but i could not live with the clos de paris bezel hehehe!!!! i talked to my watchmaker that is authorized from a lot of brands here like all the swatch group etc about the possibility of take out the dlc and have the bezel brushed. he told me that he already did that in some watches and took out the dlc with a sand jet and i asked him to do that for me..... the result was amazing, the watch looks like left the fabric. as he used the sand jet it doesnt changed the corners and chamfers of the watch. it was pretty expensive, but worth every penny imho...... there is some photos....

If it is not the first alarm diving watch ( see the JLC Deep Sea Alarm released two years before, in 1959 ), it certainly is one of the icons, and it was more famous than the JLC before its re edition! 42 mm super compressor case, decompression scale, ala...

Good to get attention for Vulcain. I have one Vulcain alarm watch on my wishlist, to give my watch collection a push. Reason, i own no hand wound, and i want a hand wound watch.

Set the time one direction. I am afraid to damage the movement when setting a watch to turn anti clockwise when the hands go anti clockwise. I operate the union crown anti clockwise when setting time on my Longines, then the hands go clockwise. Also when ...

i have only this another one when it was still black. have also those to photos one when they took off the dlc and it was brushed, i really tought about let it brushed, but decided to have it polished instead as the original one..... and another one with ...
