The problem with the PRX is that the materials used in the movement make it unrepairable. Can someone confirm this?

but at this price level, and given the service cost is likely to be higher than the cost of the watch itself, does it really matter? Tissot will likely just replace the entire movement if these "plastic" components break down which is totally fine with me... 

But it depends on your timeframe. Tissot will be around for a while. As a vintage collector, a number of brands I collect are no longer around. So this platform will die at some point. Personally I’d rather spend the money on a mechanical movement that ca... 

Not to mention that there are versions of the same movement with all metal parts which should be interchangeable with this one . Problem solved 😀

I will worry about crossing that bridge when i get there. It’s one of my more accurate watches which is an added bonus. 😄
