Horological Meandering

A collegue recently told me an o so romantic story about how he surprised his wife with her dream watch (a Blancpain chronograph if my memory serves me correctly) and coincided it with a brand racing event. Then subsequently after hearing her express unfa...

It only qualifies if you still own the watch and have kept it because of that particular occasion. :)

Weeks back I decided to put a nice brown ostrich strap on my white "broad arrow". (The one on the left side) After the change, as I do normally, I asked if my wife for her impressions. She liked to much that she "confiscated" the watch that now is her day...

Great story, Ping! Unfortunately I have no story of my own to share. The closest I have come is to be advicer to all my friends when they buy watches for their wifes... But in a way I like that, makes me a part of their happy memory! :) Best Blomman
