Horological Meandering

According to Hysek's website, the Hysek Colosso has a 3-dimensional Earth 12mm in diameter and turns itself in 24 hours and can be set at the local time or at the GMT time. Please note, you must be logged into your account to vote and view results....  

It's not just the earth display. What are the extra linear displays on either side of the dial? What are the extra controls? Regards, MTF...

I don't like it at all, but it is "interesting" -a

specifically, if someone inadvertently scraped the Earth ball against a concrete wall. Would the ball pop off and roll away? The ball protudes out so much that all I see is a red bullseye smack right on the ball for some mishap to occur someday in the fut... 

I tjoink that the 3 dimensinnal moonphase is nicer on a De Bethune, I don't like the style of this Hysek, but this is just a matter of taste... I don't even want to know the price, as I think that it 's quite high..No, for me, this is a FIRM ..NO. Best. N... 

NIcholas, I think this is a day-phase or day / night indicator, as it is a GMT or Local time watch. It is also a minute repeater and maybe a business week # of the year (e.g. 38 of 52) ; I have never seen that combination before. Regards, MTF
