My 5004 has needed work twice since purchased in 2006...

...The first time it stopped winding when on the wrist, but could be wound manually.  That was fixed under warranty.

About one year ago it stopped winding completely.  It cost $815 for a servicing and a change to the crown/stem (maybe that's what's new on the 5009??)  I have a small chip in the edge of the crystal near 12 o'clock that they wanted about to replace for about $500, but since it's so small and barely noticeable, I'll wait.

I can't say I'm happy that the watch has needed to be fixed twice, but it's not a $10 quartz watch.  It was also one of the first 5004s available.  It is somewhat more annoying how it loses time more than any other watch I own, however--but it just looks and feels so damn good!

And $850 for the flyback chrono. Routine maintenance, no issues with the watch.
