Horological Meandering

Team, Got it some time ago. Seldom wear it, because the original strap is terrible. Now with one that matches the red tones. It's some sort of Legend Diver with 70's looks. Very cool "walk on the wild side" watch. B&W to show the funky case: A great w...  

Looks quite funky indeed! One has to say that Longines managed to get some of their Tributes very right...

I saw one original but it was on a very bad shape. I like watches in perfect state and maintainable. That\'s the reason that I don\'t have "rusty" ones. Cheers, Nilo

How do you like it apart from the strap?

The short lugs makes a lot of difference, when compared with the LLD. High legible. Easy to maintain (it has an ETA inside). Negative point: The date. Cheers, Nilo

Given how the initial, no date run of LLDs is trading above retail (which Longines is surely aware of), I would have thought they would go for more such limited runs... Thanks for your initial impressions!

Yours indeed looks to be in pristine condition. Longines Admiral Diver Ref. 2331-1 from March 26, 1973 ...

....but it was more to grab an opportunity to get a Longines Admiral (which is a "brand" on its own within Longines) with an original "Gay Freres 1/72" at - should I say - very low cost. I had it mechanically overhauled with my godfather of watchmakers an...
