Mido Powerwind Ocean Star Diver Ref 5907 in Corsica.

On our way to Ile Rousse, we found a small beach, and we had a quick stop there. 


The watch of the day? The Mido Powerwind Ocean Star. A colorful star, in a colorful place. 

I was too lazy to change the date of this candy, though.




Isn't it a very good summer companion? With its decompression scale, it is perfect. It only lacks water resistance, to enjoy a swim with it on my wrist. But it is the problem of most of our beloved vintage watches...

They are instantly recognizable - arm fully extended out front, full lower arm in frame, photo shot from eye view. They always remind me of those first-person video game Shoot ‘em Ups like “DOOM” where you always see the fully outstretched lower arm holdi...
