Horological Meandering

I have been looking at both the Mayu and Monard, particularly the Platinum or Palladium cases that feature the Ardoise and Fume dials. Personally, I prefer the Monard's clean dial and applied markers as well as its 7-day movement. The negative, however, i... 

Cleaner; simpler; more elegant. Whilst the Mayu is a very lovely watch, speaking personally the large numerals at 12 seem a little out of proportion (and lonely on their own) and the markers inside the sub-seconds dial add a degree of 'fussiness', on the ... 

I feel very similar. The Mayu is very nice, but the Monard appeals to me more. It's just a big watch, at least for me.

I find its overall quality and interest higher than Mayu ones. Mayu is a nice watch but I consider it as the entry level at Moser. Fr.Xavier

I didn't really think of it that way. It has been a while since I have seen a Mayu and I thought the finishing was nicer than I remembered. I agree, though, the Monard and the other larger watches are more interesting and appealing to me. Thank you

I see the mayu as aesthetically much more pleasing than the monard. The second sub dial and big 12 gives the dial depth and character . It is amusing when people write things such as 'entry level'. While mayu may be a less complex movement than the monard...
