Luxury Concepts?
I stopped following Bedat & Co after Simon and his mother sold the company to Gucci Group.
It fell off the PuristS' radar and it was a surprise that Gucci sold it to 'Luxury Concepts' - a Malaysian company.
It would be interesting to see what happens next. The last two 'Swiss' watch brands that I know were owned by a SouthEast Asian company were Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth. They were eventually sold to Bulgari Group thathad the resources to invest in upgrading the Manufactures and making their own movements. Those movements now form the basis of the Gerald Genta / Daniel Roth Collections in Bulgari.#
The new Nr.8 collection should do well in China especially looking similar to the Cartier Balon Bleu.

here i would like to point out that watches brands events are no longer plain marketing events, they are becoming more and more CULTURAL ones , i believe purists of all kinds DO share one or more CULTURAL sense after all ... Thanks again Kong . Faisal
