Horological Meandering

The last catalog I received from JLC was only a few pages with pictures of about 3 watches.  I understand the catalogs are very expensive to produce, but I really expected more than a few pages on what seemed t be cheap paper.  I get it that most manufacturers have gone to on-line catalogs, they are OK but nothing beats sitting down and going page by page, over and over again.  A few I have received since Basel that are still very well done are Breitling, IWC, Eberhard, Sinn, Stowa and Mont Blanc.  I am waiting on a Cartier catalog. I haven't gotten a Rolex catalog for a while but if I remember correctly I wasn't impressed by the last one.  Guess I better adapt to on-line catalog viewing.
