I visited the same places you did. The best thing I did was search "vintage watch" on Google maps and check each shops offerings on their site. Saw many beautiful vintage Patek's (including a stunning 1463, a platinum 570, and a steel 2508) and other watc...

I would always do my DD but Japan has strict laws against fakes so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
