... to be attached to the things that you've always treasured. IMO, sentimental value outweighs material value of goods. That's why I was so glad that I didn't sell my Omega Seamaster afterall, if you read about the history that I had with the watch 
For me, when I make a purchase, I'll need a clear mind. On one hand, if it is for flipping, I make sure I don't wear the watch (to prevent having emotional attachment to it) and to sell it ASAP. On the other hand, if my intention is to keep the watch, then of course I wouldn't think about selling it all. Nearly slapped myself for breaking this rule when it came to the Seamaster the other time. HAHAHA!

After collecting for more than 10yrs, I still hardly let go any pieces. Couldn't bear to since I bought what I really liked & each piece had accompanied me in my journey of watch collecting & getting to know more friends. Melvin
