Thank you my friend. You're right, I had the same feeling about his workshop. You can't imagine that Mr Halter is able to make so many impressive timepieces in this workshop

When I See the Workshops of watchmakers, I often ask myself the same question.
It's maybe because I'm a mechanical engineer myself. I often ask myself, how such delicate and complex high-end watches can be made at rather chaotic looking workplaces. Thx for the Report.
I fully understand your feeling. I call that an "organised chaos".
That could be a "problem" for us (I love when my desk is in order) but I think that's just normal for few of them (it was identical at the Philippe Dufour workshop). I talked with an old watchmaker and he didn't understand how young watchmaker could work ...

Fortunately, the temperatures will decrease next days. They even forecast only 19 degrees next Thursday 😳. Crazy world! During these hot days in Geneva, a tour in the Vallée de Joux at 1000m of altitude is really required 😉 Best wishes Alkiro
