Nobody will ever look at these screws, except for the screw head, and they are so small that using a magnifying glass becomes extremely tiring after a while, unless you are looking through a microscope camera.
All of which is to say that finishing doesn't require impressive skills, just time.
Of course, a good finisher can produce the best finish in the shortest amount of time, but if we put hand finishing with no mechanical devices at the top, then it's just a matter of time and labour.
I think that CNC and other manufacturing processes (like LIGA, additive 2-photon, etc.) should give us the best quality at the fairest price, that's why almost 2 years ago I started designing a crazy idea that will hopefully become a prototype soon (a few months).
Maybe one day I'll tell you how it all started, I'm not ready to create another independent brand because I don't have the economic resources and that wasn't the sparkle, I just wanted to prove to my friends that it's possible and feasible to make a watch on a shoestring.
Instead of buying a Trilobe, I invested that amount (and more) in my idea 😎
