... With the leave it in the drawer approach. I used to keep my watches on a winder, but then realized I was just wearing them out. And it's correct, if you have a watch with a perpetual calendar complication, keeping the watch running is an imperative. So in this case I would tend to agree that a watch winder is a necessity.
