The comparison to it being a great violin is an illustration.
It may as well be the volumes of Sherlock Holmes, great cars, the Apple products of Steve Jobs and et cetera.
The big advantages are the 1 reliable life spans, 2 relevance they hold and retain even after technology leaves them, 3 their polarizing beauty that divides people, 4 the ideology of the people who made them and 5 the safety of their values, which is also polarizing, but I doubt if they will ever lose significant value, and over 20 years, they would very likely supercede most if not all, that exist today, before Basel 2015.
