I'm never first out of the blocks for any watch. I like to follow and reflect at my own pace.

It's an approach that generally works for me. I can have my own internal dialogue and build my own rationale, which may or may not be horological. As may be evident from my musings above, my interest in this watch has to do with the symbolism I find in it.
After that there are so many things to appreciate. The sparse, minimal dial dominated by that complication. The ghost of the Valjoux 7750 is concealed with the movement, it began life with components supplied by Habring2, and the design of the movement pays homage to 19th century pocket watches. The result of all of this is that the crown audibly crunches on winding, a sound experience that I love.
